Run-A-Muck Lucky Duck

What a great turn out for the Run-A-Muck Lucky Duck event! We were glad to be a part of this event for a great cause. The day began at MJ’s Lodge & Resort in Pengilly. We were greeted by many people helping to make the day a fun day for all, from the ladies helping register, to people selling raffle tickets and split the pot, to the Run-A-Muck Safety crew.

 The decorations people added to their vehicles were really inspiring. It made us recognize even more that though we would enjoy a day of riding, the reason we were all there was for something bigger and more personal for many.

It was great to see the Goodland Fire department there to send us off and get us going, what a great showing of community support.

Because of the rain we had the night before, the trails were perfect and not too dusty.

The group stopped at Toivio’s Pub for the Duck Chuck and were able to check out our Ray’s Sport and Cycle Trailer. We had hoodies, sunglasses, jerseys and more.

The Ducks were chucked by an awesome catapult, and it was really neat to see the ducks fly. You never knew if they would fly high up or if they would go low and roll after landing.

After all the ducks were chucked, it was time to get back on the trails. Everyone went at their own pace and enjoyed the day at their leisure. And eventually all made it to Dozers Bar & Grill for some good food and to see who won the raffle, split the pot and the Ducks. Congrats to all the winners!
